Mother's are a beauty to behold. Kudos to all mothers!

Trusting the process, not your goal.

My 18-month-old daughter wanted to sleep so badly that she kept rubbing her eyes and crying at every whim. She was just tired. I knew I had to carry her to enable her to sleep, but she didn’t want to be carried. So, I carried her, although she didn’t want to follow the process, and within minutes, she was asleep.
When the Israelites were being taken out of Egypt, they had to cross the Red Sea. I am sure they doubted the process because to man it was impossible, but to God it was. And you can imagine the complaints they made at that time, thinking that the Red Sea was closing in on them.
Sometimes, we don’t want the process, but we want to get to the goal. Trusting in Him and his timing will help us get to the goal.
He is all-knowing. He knows what to do to get you there, so trust him fully. Taking one day at a time and allowing him to carry you through the process of change.
Because the process is what leads you to the destination, trusting the process is trusting that the conclusion will be favorable regardless of how the road seems.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs3:5-6)
